My neighbor and I want to change the position of the right of way he has on my property, could you please let me know how this can be done? We searched for a solicitor to help us with that for a few months now but I presume that the fees aren't attractive enough for the amount of work involved as every firm we've approached said they cannot help us. There is any legal possibility to do that without a solicitor, or there are any delegated solicitors for this kind of legal work that we can use? Thank you!

Mia - whilst you do not have to use a solicitor to apply to update the registers you will need to create a legal deed to vary/release the existing right and create a new one. For that reason you will need to identify a conveyancer to assist in creating such a legal deed
Easements (PG62) - GOV.UK explains more with regards easements (rights) and can assist in part but please do pursue finding a conveyancer to complete the legal deed for you

Thank you very much for your help, I'll look for a conveyancer.
