Any advise would be much appreciated.

After several years living at our current address my wife and I have recently become involved in the unfolding Fleecehold scandal and whilst reading through our Morris Homes covenants we discovered that only one of us has signed the TP1 whereas both of us should have signed as stipulated on the transfer TP1 documentation.

What does this mean?
Do we actually legally own the property that we have paid for outright or is it still the developers and in limbo and the transfer not deemed to have been completed?

In light of the covenants not being acceptable in their current form with the freehold being under-minded by the developers enforced service charge requests and additional hidden charges and fees for consents by both the developer and the Service management company can we now request that the developer buy the property back at the current market value and walk away enabling us to purchase a property elsewhere without the hidden strings attached?

David - not something we can advise you on sadly and it's very much legal advice you need here as to what your rights/options are
Whilst this is a public forum it is very rare for anyone other than HMLR to post replies as it is aimed very much at LR based Qs rather than wider legal issues such as the ones you are facing.
