There is an Equitable charge against a property of my mums set up in 2011 that has now been satisfied. How can this be removed. The charge was through an agreed notice AN1 FORM made between a private wealth service and my mother to secure payment for said services. As these services have now finished and the payments satisfied , what do wwe need to now do to take this charge off her property?

Paul - form CN1 and supporting evidence to confirm that the charge has been 'satisfied' as you put it. That generally means some sort of confirmation from the lender/creditor/service provider discharging their charge https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/notice-cancellation-cn1

Another question as awell, how much is this to release? the charge was for £45,000 pounds for consultancy work which has now ceased and paid up. The private wealth business are happy to release this charge now. I believe the fee on the cn1 form for anything from 0-80,000 is £45 by post Is this correct. I'm just reading throught the CN1 form. Do I just send in with their letter of release? Does land registry then contact them and once they confirm it gets lifted? I am having to do this on my mums behalf
