The second deadline for the other party passed almost a month ago and we have not heard anything further.

Could you please check with the casework team again for an update.

 I assume the other party received copies of all the documents supporting our application. Should we not receive copies of their response, so we know what is happening ?

Dear Bettina - it's now back with our lawyers to consider next steps again. The complexities involved are clearly making this a very drawn-out process 
It has been escalated but will still take a little time to know what happens next

Dear Bettina - I'm advised that things appear to have bene resolved now with the conveyancer and the expectation is that the casework team/lawyer will be able to complete matters between now and Friday
I can't offer a precise timescale but trust that at least that news gives you some reassurance that the end is very close re resolving matters re the pending application
