changing trustees

I am chairman of a outdoor pursuits club with a property in North Wales that we own outright, it is a private members club run by a committee based in Coventry England. I need to update the trustees one has passed away and one is retiring i have been to a solicitor the cost is prohibitive for a small club can i do it with out a solicitor ?.Thank you for any help you can provide.
