Historic Rent Charges

Hi
I'm selling my house which has an annual rent charge to be paid to the vicar of the village church dated 15.02.1918. 
I have lived here for 9 years & have never been asked for this fee & neither did the people before is. 
Am I able to & how do I get it removed from the Tiltle?

Hi Angela - an application to cancel a noted rentcharge would be made using form CN1 and any supporting evidence as appropriate
