Expedited removal of restriction - remortage

Good morning.

So I'm currently remortaging my property and the solicitor threw up a restriction from 2008. This was for an IVA which should have been removed when settled, which is now welll over 10 years ago.

The insolvency practicioners have submitted an RX4 but have said this may take 3 months. This is blatantly their fault for not removing it over a decade ago and the completion of the remortgage depends on this restriction being removed.

G M David - there's no application as yet so once it has been submitted they/you can request expedition to reduce the wait time you mention. Everything then has to be in order to update the register as applied for

How do I check if you have received it or is there anyway to submit it electronically?

David - post again on here next week and I can check again. They'll have had to submit it by post as no electronic option for them

David - received 7th Feb. If there's an urgency then you can request expedition to reduce the remaining wait time

Fabulous thank you, yes applying for expedition. It's a restriction that should have ben removed over 10 years ago but the company got dissolved.

David - the restriction has been removed from the register
