Dear Team,
I was wondering if you can help me. I am preparing to re-mortgage soon. Please could you advise that the following forms and accompanying documents are the correct process to “remove or mark as satisfied” some old debt on my property’s Title Register:
To remove “an equitable charge created by an interim charging order” dated 2010. Complete Form CN1 (box’s 1-7, 11 and 12), together with a certified copy of evidence letter from the creditor that the debt has now been paid in full. ??
To remove a “Unilateral Notice in respect of a final charging order” dated 2011. Complete Form UN4 (box’s 1-4 and 6-10), together with a certified copy of evidence letter from the creditor that the debt has now been paid in full. ?? (I assume that this form will also remove the separate “Beneficiary” notice - which is dated on the same date in 2011.)
Please could you confirm that there is currently no fee necessary to be paid for both the CN1 and UN4 forms?
And that the postal address to send everything back for members of the public is: HM Land Registry, Citizen Centre, PO Box 7806, Bilston, WV1 9QR.
Many thanks for all your help,
P.
