Hi. I am currently in a position of selling my mothers house for which we have power of attourney. The solicitor says they need a certified copy of the power of attourney document because the land registry won't use  the access codes.
Please can you confirn if this is correct as certified copies are yet more expense

Hi Stephen - see section 7 of our PG 9 for guidance on what we can accept as evidence re the power of attorney. The conveyancer would rely on the same guidance and the fourth option relates/links to the 'access codes' you refer to
