Hello, I posted a SIM search form with a cheque; the £8 was debited from my account on 1st May. I also posted an OC2 form and the £11 was debited on 5th May. Neither the SIMR nor the requested document in the OC2 have arrived yet. Is this normal?

Hello Jay - information services are generally processed within 2/3 days. If you've not received either result use the contact form to submit specific details and they can investigate. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/contact-hm-land-registry#contact-form

Hi Adam - I spoke by telephone with three different people at HM Land Registry. The first two were unable to find any applications relating to the SIM, but fortunately the third gentleman was able to locate them and provided the application references M51HVNB and K51HVNB. He advised that both applications appeared to have been completed on 3rd May (a Sunday?), although he could not see any further information beyond that. He suggested that the SIM results may have been sent by 2nd class post, but even allowing for that, I would have expected them to have arrived by now. Please could you shed any more light on this or offer any assistance as I need the results quite urgently at this point - would it be possible to e-mail the SIM results to the address given on the application form in these circumstances?

Hi Jay - believe it or not we can work 7 days a week so don't be surprised by a Sunday timeframe. Results are issued by 2nd class post and in my experience our post, just like anyone else's, can sometimes not be delivered to the named recipient/address - that's beyond our control and would be one for Royal Mail. When you identified the possibility over the phone presumably my colleague offered to re-issue the results? If not was that not covered?

Hi Jay - I have logged your comment and referred it to the support team to respond as appropriate. I have emailed to advise also - please respond to that email if you do not receive a response in the next 7-10 days

Hi Adam - Thanks for your response and follow-up. To answer your question, your colleague did not offer to re-send the results so I'm still in limbo as the lack of SIMR is holding things up. I thought about the Royal Mail issue and asked my immediate neighbours on both sides if they had received anything but they both said no. I will look out for a message from the support team as you advised.
