My father died intestate on 2 December 1983.  A Deed of Family Arrangement was made dated 28 June 1984 under which his widow, my step-mother, agreed to leave a Property to me in her will.  Can this Deed of Family Arrangement be entered as a Restriction on the Land Register to protect my interest by preventing the disposition of the Property other than in accordance with the Deed of Family Arrangement?  If so, could you please advise which Form(s) and/or wording should be used?

Malcolm - I would recommend having a read of our PG 24 re private trusts and seeking legal advice as well
Private trusts of land (PG24) - GOV.UK
Whilst 'trusts' can be protected on the register we can't offer any more advice than what's covered in the PG 24 guidance on how to apply. What you really need is legal advice to understand what the legal position is and whether, based on that guidance, you are able to protect your beneficial interest/the trust as appropriate on the land register

Thank you for your prompt reply, and for the link to PG24.  I will study PG24 and review how to move forward, including legal advice. Many thanks
