Who is responsible for my track leading to my cottage

I own a cottage located up a farm track. Who is responsible for its upkeep.

Fred - usually the owner of the track itself but two things to consider really
Who owns it and does the registered information include any details re maintaining the track or
Check your own registered information to see what rights you have over it and whether that includes any arrangements re maintaining it etc
