At present the ID3 - Certificate of Identity for a Private Individual requires verification from one of a very limited range of appropriately qualified individuals: Medical Doctor, Dentist, Chartered or Certified Accountant, Regulated Financial Adviser, Member of Parliament or Member of the Senedd.

This is causing some difficulty for the other executor of an estate for which I am also an executor. What persons other than those listed may be considered acceptable for verification of identity for the ID3 form?

Stephen - none. It's either ID3 verified by one of those listed or ID1/conveyancer.

Hello

Could a chartered taxation accountant (CTA) act as a verifier for ID3lplease?

Alternatively I have access to a retired doctor.

With thanks

Hello Nick - I'm afraid not. The list of accepted professionals is provided in PG67
