Hope someone can answer this for me. I have bought a house freehold for £85,000 so no Stamp Duty to pay but I still have had to submit a paper SDLT1 to HMRC because over £40K. I have declared no tax to pay. Do I still have to wait for my SDLT5 Certificate to send with my TR1 form even if I don't have tax to pay, kind regards Terry.

Terence - yes, you do have to wait and then submit the SDLT5
