Help fillin hr1 form

Hi I’m just trying to fill out a hr1 form. Section 8 I need to put my wife’s name but we recently got married but brought the house a number of years ago so I’m not sure if I would put her married or maiden name. 

Marc - you would refer to her by her legal and current name
I assume the house is registered in your sole name and form HR1 is being used to protect her rights

No the title is in her sole name but we brought the house together 5 years ago so the title may still be in her maiden name. She wants a divorce after just 4-5 months of marriage so the form is to protect my rights 

Hi Marc - understood and apologies. So you are the 'applicant' here so you should put her current legal name and I would suggest ('nee NAME') in brackets in panel 8

I’ve sent it Off a few days ago. How will I know you have received it? Will I get any notification 

Marc - no acknowledgement issued. Post again on Monday with the title number and we can check - post can be slow so it may not have arrived as yet

Ok thanks. What’s the next stage. Would you contact her and notify her of it? Would she be able to protest it

Marc - once processed we would notify the registered owner. Our PG 20 explains the process and what happens re notifications. You'd need legal advice as to what her and your legal rights are
