Hi, I'm preparing the form AS1 (The Assent).   My brother and I are the named on the grant of probate and so I assume that we both need to sign the Execution in Panel 12.  My question is that given that we live quite some distance apart, can the signatures be done at separate times?  The process seems to allow for separate witnesses in panel 12.  If so, how would we complete the date in panel 3?

Hi Ernest - we only receive the one form so the timing of the execution isn't an issue
Once you have both executed it correctly then it can be dated and submitted as appropriate

Hi Adam, thanks for the quick reply.  So just to be clear.  It would be ok if I sign panel 12 of the form with a witness and then send the form to my brother to sign with another witness and then apply the date that he signed it in panel 3.
thanks
