ID3 Form

Hello, I am looking to undertake a property transfer for 3 individuals which will require an ID1 form which my solicitor say will cost around £400 to complete. I noticed the ID3 form provides the same ID verification and can be completed by a dentist, doctor, financial advisor etc at no additional cost. My solicitor advises that the ID3 form is no longer valid since February 2024 but the form is still stated on the gov.uk website as a viable option of identification. Does anyone know if the land registry still accepts ID3 forms? Thanks

Hello Philip - The form ID3 is still valid and acceptable for evidence of identity. You can find more information about the procedures in our
