If I purchase freehold as individual/trustee (as opposed to incorporating a company with Companies House), what forms do I need to complete? Thank you!

T Ste - that's only a Q you can all decide upon and I would recommend that you seek legal advice/assistance. We register the outcome of such decisions once a legal transfer of ownership has taken place

Okay I understand - so just to  clarify it would be up to 4 names and this could be 1 representative from each flat/unit as agreed by all?

The register refers to the legal owners. For example if the legal ownership was transferred to 8 people only the first 4 named in the Transfer or as indicated by the applicant would appear on the register 
But please do seek legal advice here as to how 'best' to protect everyone's legal interest as appropriate and to ensure that IF things need to change on the future, for example when a flat is sold, that you all know what's required and who by
