Land Registry Fees

my ex partner and i own a house valued at 300k. We are separating and i am paying 40k to him for transferring the property into my sole name. Could you please advise me what the will the land registry fee will be

Yes I had looked at that but could not see any examples that matched my circumstances. I would have thought that this would be a common occurrence

John - if you are paying him £40K and that's the consideration in the Transfer then the fee is Scale 1 on that amount
