Dating deeds which have been signed electronically

Good morning,

I'm sorry, I can't find an answer to my query in the practice guides.

We are finding our feet with Docusign and in this instance have some electronically-signed deeds with no function to enter the date of the document electronically.

Can we print these and add the date in manuscript?  And if so, do we need to add “The electronic deed of which this is a print-out is amended this day [date] by adding the date of the deed.”

Good Afternoon Jessica - my understanding is that we would expect the deed to be dated via the same platform you are using. But I shall check with colleagues who deal with e-signature requirements and post again once I have something to share
