TITLE just sates 'land at .....' not the actual address

I have just got the offical copy of register of title for a freehold property and it states under property register ....and being land at Stakeford Lane, Stakeford. 

It does not have the address of the actual property on it nor show a postcode.

Is this OK or should it state the actual name of the property (house) that is built on the land along with the postcode?

The house was already built on the land when the current proprietors puchased the house in 2006.

Hi Ed - this is not unusual especially when land is registered and then built on at a later date. If there is now a postal address on the land then a request to update the register can be made along with a copy of the local authority letter which confirms the allocated postal address
I'm guessing you might be buying and if so, and with a mortgage, then your lender/conveyancer may insist that the register is updated re the postal address. If they do then the seller can apply for that
If it's not an issue for you as a buyer and the property lies within the red outline on the title plan, then you can do the same but as part of the application to update the register re your purchase
