Possessory Title Note on Register

We are dealing with the sale of a matter and the title register states the following under the short particulars of the lease at A2 on title NN261236:

NOTE: The rights granted by the above lease are in part granted over
title number NN189026 first registered with possessory title on 28
April 1997 and are consquently not binding on any right or interest
adverse to or in derogation of the title of the first registered
proprietor of title.

Our clients, the sellers, do not have any information in this regard. As this is a possessory title from April 1997, is there any way that this entry can be removed, and if so what would be the method in which to do it?

Good Afternoon Mark - I think what you are really asking is whether the register can be updated now that the possessory title, NN189026, has been upgraded to absolute title.
The information re the rights granted would be in the lease itself
If that is the case then you can apply to update the title using form AP1 and include a request to remove the Note OR you can use the contact form to submit the request to amend the title
I would recommend the form AP1 choice and then request expedition as there is a pending sale/purchase
