No Title Number on House Deeds

My mother is approaching 90 years old this March and is trying to sort out her property details for the making of her Will. During this process we have found her house deeds but they don't have any Title number on them. On searching her address on your web site we get a 'No details Found' message against her house address. How can she find the Title Number. She has lived in the same house since the the early 1980's. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Hi Nick - it reads as if she bought it before compulsory registration was introduced to the area. You can check the date re compulsory registration in our Practice Guide 1 section 8
The guide also explains how an application to register the property for the first time can then be submitted
