I wonder if you would be able to explain why when I check if my new build house has been registered the page has:

summary of freehold
the correct street address and postcode however the property description is of the house that was demolished with its old postcode to make way for our properties (freehold houses not flats)

the last sold for section contains presumably what the developer paid and the date they paid it.

will this update with my own information and if so when? Or do I need to inform you officially that the information is incorrect?

I completed the purchase in October 2023 if that helps.

Thank you for you time

Claire - it will update when your application to register your purchase has been completed. We have a backlog of this type of work and average wait times are currently around 14+ months.
Confirm with your conveyancer as to when it was submitted and the estimated completion date provided to them and use that as an indicator as to when it might be completed.

Thanks so much Adam.

It’s good to know this isn’t anyt to be concerned about and I’ll do as you suggest and make contact with my conveyancer.
