I sold a garage and am waiting for the buyers solicitor to expedite the registration as a house sale is pending. He is not replying to my requests. Can I send in my copies of the TP1 and the contract to be expedited?

Barbara - you can request expedition by following our online guidance, yes
Request an expedite - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Thanks for the information. The TP1 and Contract I have are signed by me, the buyers solicitor has the copy signed by the buyer.  Can I register my documents and does he need to register his copy?

Barbara - it is the buyer/their conveyancer who would apply to register their TP1

Your website states

We usually only consider requests from the organisation that sent us the application or the buyer or seller of the property.

im having a problem with the buyers solicitor replying to e mails to expedite the registration.

Barbara - indeed but the word 'usually' is the key one here and that allows you to make the request and submit a copy of the contract/memorandum of sale for example to support your request

Thanks you for your help Adam. Amazingly I’ve just received a property alert from land registry to say papers have been lodged by my buyers solicitors.

Barbara - the request to expedite is made separately and using the link I provided. The conveyancer has not as yet requested expedition

I have just heard from the land registry customer support that the expedition request has been lodged. Thank goodness.

what happens now once the new title is registered as I’m waiting to exchange on a house. Are the solicitors informed ?

Barbara - expedition gets the application to the processing start line. Generally that's within the 10 days quoted so everything then depends on the application being in order. The conveyancers can monitor and check on progress
