Removing a lease

Hi we’re buying a house from an equity release company and it needs to have a lease removed before we can exchange contracts. I’ve been told this has been expedited but was wondering how long this might take. We were supposed to complete before the end of the month. Thanks 

Hi Dawn - expedition gets it to the processing start line. Then it all relies on it being in order of course

Dawn - many thanks. Application submitted 11th March. Expedited 12th. Partially processed but we need more from the conveyancer and they were contacted today. We now need a full and positive response form them before matters can proceed/complete
The 'more' is quite straightforward so hopefully they can confirm/clarify the details for you

Hello I am in the same situation as you!  An expedited application was made last week to the Land Registry and we are waiting to hear back, if the sale doesn't complete by Friday this week it will collapse and I will loose my house that I so desperately want.  I am hoping Adam Hookway see's this and might be able to help!
