Hi
I have a transfer of title TP1 that shows my back garden has a path behind my left neighbour to the left hand side of my garden

my neighbour on my right does not have a transfer of title plan they just have an ordnance surgery picture in 2014 that shows the path goes through the back of my garden to the left hand side of theirs

when I brought the property in 2020 the previous owner confirmed he knew the path was there and he knew and therefore permission to use it was given indirectly by him to my neighbours on my right

when I redid my fences the neighbours on my right told me to keep the path due to their ordnance survey picture which ordnance survery stated wasn’t legally binding

I am currently being threatened with court but they don’t have a tp1 (Barrett homes didn’t register their house with one)

Hi Di D - a mix of information for sure but it's very much legal advice you need here
The register and title plan will confirm the registered information. And if there's a Transfer (TP1) referred to on the register re rights etc and as being 'filed' then that's in the registration mix also
Ordnance Survey plans show the lie of the land so to speak. The physical features in place on the ground when they completed/updated their survey information. That will also show roads and more but does not then define legal ownership or specific rights, which is where the registered information comes in
Neighbours can agree to a variety of things between themselves such as moving fences, blocking off or not using paths etc and that can then impact on future use/claims as to ownership and more. But if none of that is registered it's not something we can advise on
Please do seek legal advice as appropriate especially as you are being threatened with court. And perhaps check your Home Insurance to see if it includes legal advice
