My brother and I have jointly owned a property for ten years and he now wishes to sell his half share to me.
We have external valuations and have assessed the CGT implications. The property value is less than the stamp duty limit.
Give we both know the property well and don't need the usual searches and property questionnaires etc, we think that self conveyancing will be the quickest route.
What are the essential forms required to conduct the sale and transfer of the property with HM Land Registry?

Andrew - see our online guidance -
Registering land or property with HM Land Registry: Change the registered owner name - GOV.UK
Land registration is complex, designed to protect legal and financial interests in property. There can be significant consequences for any error. Please consider seeking legal representation. Before making an application without legal representation, it is important to
consider the benefits of using a conveyancer.
