My wife sent an HR4 together with a covering letter to the Land Registry on 10th May and we would expect you to receive it on 13th or 14th May, 2024.

The form relates to Title Number LA91737 and we need to have the 'Home Rights Notice' removed as a matter of urgency as we now want to use our home as collateral, and if the notice is not removed urgently, we stand to lose a very significant amount of money.

Once you receive the HR4 form, how soon can the notice be removed?

We are not aware of any fees payable for this service.  If fees are payable, can they be paid online/by phone to avoid any delays?

Any assistance you can give with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Mike

Mike - once received the application will need to be expedited to ensure it is processed as quickly as possible
There is no fee for form HR4 and what processing is required will depend on how the Notice is being removed for example signed release or other supporting information
So at this stage there's nothing you can usefully do until it is received. Once it is it can be expedited as explained and if all is in order completed swiftly.

Can I confirm we sent it to the correct address

HM Land Registry Citizen Centre,

PO Box 74,

Gloucester,

GL14 9BB.

Should it be possible to get the notice removed by 21st May or before?

Thanks.

It was posted on friday afternoon so I would expect it to arrive today or tomorrow.

Do you mean I should send the HR4 form again or post on here again?

Have you received the HR4?  It is becoming very urgent?

Thank you. Is it possible you could update me/give me a timescale?

We are buying an auction property with very tight deadlines.

Do I need to use the link that you sent me to expedite it or are you expediting it, just to clarify.

Thanks.

Mike- I have already had it expedited as mentioned so no need for you to submit a request as well.
Expedition generally means it's processed within 10 days but it's often much quicker than that. Feel free to post again each day for an update as appropriate.

Mike - processed on 18th and wider checks now underway. That entails us contacting the protected person using the addresses as shown on the register. She now has time to respond and that time runs out on 11th June. So the ball is very much now in her court.

Have you contacted her by post or email?  Maria hasn't received anything yet and we need to complete this week or we lose £23k.  Please help.
