Hi, I am going through the legal due diligence process at the moment selling my apartment. My solicitor said that they have applied for the searches title/ title plan etc, but land registry only takes application by post and not avaialble online immediately.

It has been 4 months now since the application. Do you know how can we chase up and how can we see if they really receive my solicitor's OCI application. I am very confused and surprised the service and turnaround time.

Thanks all who can help and advise.

Regards
Michael

Kiu Fung Ho -  It is not clear what is the delay or what is your solicitor trying to do.  Most of the legal conveyancers subscribe to our Business eServices where they can obtain the title register / title plan electronically within minutes.

If the solicitor does not have access to Business eServices, then they would need to submit a paper application.  These ones are usually completed within few days.

If you can provide me the title number or property details then I can have a look.
