Hello,
I had a homes rights notice put on the property i shared with my ex partner and we are now divorced and the house has been sold however the sale can not go through with this notice on the property.
I have filled in the HR4 form today and put it in the post.
How long will it take to remove?
We have a financial consent order that has now been approved by the judge and my ex partner has until the 6th October to fulfil the terms which I believe he wont be able to do without the sale of the property.
Can this be expedited as soon as it is received?
The title number is SF388163.

Hello Sarah - once received you should receive an acknowledgement. You can then request expedition to hasten the process. If the application is in order it can generally be completed within a matter of days

Hello, please can you confirm if you have had the application to expedite the removal of homes rights notice on SF388163? What is the timescale on this being removed? Thank you

Hello Sarah - the application was completed and the register updated to remove the Notice yesterday. Confirmation is in the post but the updated register is available online if anyone needs to check it to confirm

I recently had a homes rights notice removed from the above property as my ex and i are now divorced. He is selling the property, however his solicitor is saying that there is a restriction on the property holding up the sale due to this homes rights notice.
Can you check that it has all been removed and anything to do with the homes rights notice that was applied last year would not hold up the sale of the property?

Hi Sarah - the Homes Rights notice was removed in September as you state so it's not that which will be the issue.
I imagine, but you/he would need to ask the solicitor to confirm, that it is one of the restrictions registered against the title. Neither relate to the Homes Rights notice though.
